Following on from three years of hard work and studying, Katherine has completed her certificate after two years of teaching, then preparing a selection of case studies and passing her final examinations.
To achieve this certificate, Katherine had to study many different aspects of medicine, including oncology and treatment of the emergency and critical care patient. It also means she is now confident in managing the more complex cases and can happily advise on options for investigation and treatment for these patients.
This achievement is great for Katherine as she can now consider herself as Lamorna’s ‘medicine specialist’!
Katherine said: “I am very happy to have achieved this certificate. It has given me the opportunity to manage more medicine cases within the practice and achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.”
Having a medicine certificate holder is also great for your pets, as now Lamorna House can offer more advanced medical investigations and treatments without the need to travel somewhere further; plus we can assure you that your pet is in great hands.
